All prices shown on the website are expressed in Euros (€) and include Value Added Tax (VAT). Shipping costs may vary depending on the place of delivery of the order (National or European Territory and Balearic Islands). 6. INVOICING - VAT

In case an order is processed and it is later verified by VERA AND THE BIRDS that we do not have stock or any incidence arises regarding its supply, the Client will be immediately informed of this circumstance. In these cases, VERA AND THE BIRDS will offer the customer the possibility of changing the product or refunding the amount that had been paid by the customer through the same means used for the payment, before 14 days have passed since the purchase was made.

At Vera & the birds, we offer two types of shipping. You can have your order delivered to your home via courier (Envialia) or you can collect it from your nearest pick-up point (Punto Pack). If your order only contains samples, it will be sent to you by ordinary post.
If you live in Elche or the surrounding area, you can opt to pick up your order from our studio.
We currently ship to mainland Spain, Balearic Islands, Portugal and Europe. At the moment, we do not ship to the Canary Islands, Ceuta or Melilla. We are currently doing all we can to be able to offer this service as soon as possible.
We remind you that Envialia does not deliver to Citypack pick-up points.
After placing your order, we will send you a confirmation email and another email when we are preparing your order. When your package leaves our facilities, the courier company will send you an email/SMS with the estimated delivery date and your tracking number (please check your spam folder in case it arrives there).

Preparation for dispatch
At Vera & the Birds, we package and wrap your order as carefully as possible to ensure that your purchase arrives safe and sound.
We will prepare your order with utmost attention and care within approximately 24 hours of your purchase. Orders placed before 1:00pm will be prepared and dispatched on the same day, except during sales periods. All purchases made after 1:00 pm will be processed the following working day.
Please remember that if you place your order on a bank holiday (national, regional or local) or at the weekend, it will be processed on the following working day.
Please bear in mind that illustrations may take between 5 to 7 working days (but sometimes less). They will be posted in stiff cardboard envelopes so that they reach you in perfect condition. The orders will be shipped when all the products are ready for dispatch. We do not deliver partial orders of products.
All orders to the Mainland, Balearic Islands and Portugal will be delivered within 1 to 3 working days after the order has left our warehouse. These times may vary if an incident occurs with the delivery, such as the customer not being at home, incorrect address, etc.

Orders of samples will be sent by ordinary post and their delivery usually takes between 6-12 working days. If your order includes samples and another product, it will be sent with a courier company and the delivery times will be the usual ones.
IMPORTANT: delivery times may be affected during periods of large sales volumes (Black Friday, Christmas and special offers) or under special circumstances such as COVID or temporary situations.
The delivery cost to the Mainland is €3.50 (home delivery) or €2.95 (collection at Punto Pack). Delivery is free for orders over €29.
The delivery cost to the Balearic Islands is €7.50 (home delivery) or €6.95 (collection at Punto Pack). Delivery is free for orders over €39.
The delivery cost to Portugal is €8.50 (up to 2 kg) or €11 (2 kg - 5 kg). The final cost will be calculated during the payment process.
Delivery costs to Europe depend on the destination country. When the delivery address is indicated and the products to be purchased are added, the delivery cost will be calculated.
Under no circumstances will we be responsible for any customs duties that may be applied to goods shipped abroad.

Can I change my delivery address?
Once your order is on its way, it will not be possible to make any changes to your address, as this would generate an extra cost. When we send you your order confirmation, please check to make sure all the details are correct in order to avoid any problems with the delivery and/or unnecessary extra costs.

What happens if I am not at home on the delivery day?
Deliveries could be made at any time during the day, and we can not guarantee an exact time in the day when the courier will arrive. We therefore recommend that you provide a delivery address where someone will be available to receive the order so as to avoid incidents and possible delays.
If the courier has attempted to deliver the package to the destination unsuccessfully two times, the recipient shall be responsible for collecting their package from the nearest depot. We will contact you to inform you about the incident and at which depot your package is located.
The depot will keep your package for your collection for the following 7 days. After this period they will arrange for its return.
If the package is returned to our facilities for reasons not attributable to Vera & the Birds, the customer will be responsible for any related costs. You can read further information in our exchange and returns policy.
9. RETURNS POLICY and RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
If you are not satisfied with your order, you have a period of 14 calendar days, counting from the date of receipt, to make an exchange or refund. Write to firstname.lastname@example.org to inform us of your decision and to process your exchange/refund.
To make the return or exchange, you must send us the products in perfect condition, in their original packaging and with no signs of use to the following address:

You can choose between:
Refund of the amount paid: you must send us the product in perfect condition. In this case, you will bear the cost of returning the order. Once we receive the package at our facilities and check that everything is in perfect condition, we will proceed to refund the amount paid, except for the shipping costs.
Exchange for another product: whether it was by mistake when ordering a product or if you have thought it over and want to change the product for another, you will bear the cost of return and new shipment. If the amount of the product is higher than the amount returned, you will have to pay the difference. If, on the other hand, the order is of a lower amount, we will reimburse you the difference.
We recommend that you send us the products by registered post or courier so that we can track the package and avoid any incidents.
Once we receive the goods, we will check them and if they are in perfect condition and without signs of use, we will proceed to refund the order or exchange the products.
For health reasons, we will not accept exchanges or returns on cosmetic products that have been opened or show signs of use, unless they are in poor condition or are defective.
In the event that you have received a faulty or defective product, the cost of return and re-shipment (if any) will be borne by Vera & the birds.
Once the courier company delivers the package to our facilities and check that the items are in perfect condition, you will receive a confirmation email indicating that the amount has been paid.
The refund will be reflected in your account within 7 to 14 working days, depending on the entity. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used to make your purchase.
Have you received the wrong product or is a product missing from your order?
If you detect an error in your order, please contact us within a maximum period of 24 hours from receipt of the order, through our email email@example.com and we will respond as soon as possible. We will pick up the wrong product and you will receive the correct one at no additional cost.
Remember that we will not accept an opened/used product. Both the product and the packaging must be in its original, unopened condition.
Have you received a defective / bad product in your order?
If so, don't worry about it. Write to our email within 24 hours of receiving your order and we will respond as soon as possible to collect the defective product and deliver a new one.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
As a customer you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days without giving any reason. Consequences of withdrawal. We will proceed to effect such reimbursement, using the same means of payment used by you for the initial transaction, once we have received and checked the goods.
You will have to send us the order you received at the address indicated in this last point, assuming the direct cost of returning it. The products must be in perfect condition, must not have been opened or used and must retain their original seal or packaging and accessories or promotional gifts (product samples, branded gifts) included where applicable.
You alone shall be liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal:
You shall not have the right to withdraw from the contract the subject matter of which is the supply of any of the following products:
Goods sealed for health or hygiene reasons which have been unsealed after delivery.
The right to withdraw from the purchase shall apply exclusively to those products that are returned in the same condition in which they were received. No refund will be made if the product has been used, opened or has signs of this, products that are not in the same condition in which they were delivered or have suffered any damage, so you should be very careful with the product/s while they are in your possession. VERA AND THE BIRDS will respond to your request as soon as possible and, in any case, within one month. If your request is not satisfactorily resolved, the Customer may go to the ordinary jurisdiction or process your claim through the Municipal Consumer Information Office of your municipality of residence or the Consumer Arbitration Board of your Autonomous Community.
SECURITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY
VERA AND THE BIRDS guarantees security and confidentiality in all communications with you. All online payment transactions are made through a secure server provided by Shopify Payments and Paypal, guaranteeing their security.
VERA AND THE BIRDS also guarantees the protection and confidentiality of personal data, payment and any other type of data provided by the Customer in accordance with the provisions of the regulations on Personal Data Protection.
Customers may, at any time, exercise their rights to access, rectify or delete their personal data. 11. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
These General Conditions are subject to Spanish law.
